Last week I received a telephone call from a prospective client who was interested in discussing bankruptcy options. The potential client was a referral from a previous client. I informed him that most likely I will be in my North Miami office the whole week, and he decide that it would be too far for him and would rather go meet with a bankruptcy attorney that was more conveniently located near his home. At most you will need to visit your attorney three or four times and most offices have extended hours and weekend appointments.
PLEASE don’t pick an attorney based on convenience to your home or office. You should select your lawyer based on his experience, fees, reviews, and friend recommendations.
