Ofer Shmucher, Esq. is a bankruptcy attorney and the founder of Shmucher Law, PL.
Mr. Shmucher’s bankruptcy practice includes creditor negotiations, the representation of individuals and corporate debtors, creditors, and trustees in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings and adversary proceedings. Since 2009 Mr. Shmucher has assisted hundreds of individuals and businesses with their debt problems.
Prior to founding Shmucher Law, PL, Mr. Shmucher spent two years working as a law clerk for the Law Office of Patrick Scott, P.A. as well as a clinical intern at GrayRobinson, P.A. His past bankruptcy experience includes involvement in numerous Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 filings, creditor representations, preferential transfer analysis, fraudulent transfer analysis, as well as trustee matters.
Mr. Shmucher is an active member of Legal Aid of Miami where he routinely accepts Pro Bono cases through the Put Something Back Program. He is a certified bankruptcy mentor and has mentored numerous law students from the University of Miami, St. Thomas, and Florida International University.
In addition to his bankruptcy law practice, Mr. Shmucher also can assist individuals will personal injury cases and he is a licensed real estate agent.
Mr. Shmucher complements his legal experience with extensive business experience. He has previously worked in IT project management in the healthcare industry, working with hospitals and private practices to develop chartless practices.
Mr. Shmucher is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle District of Florida.
